Join us at the Totem Pole in December!!

Join us this Saturday, December 22nd at the totem pole as we host the LA Road Runners (LARR) since Short Avenue Elementary School is closed. We will have some holiday gift drawings before and after the 14-mile run.  We'll also have holiday cupcakes, cookies and lots of snacks.  Come ready to run and celebrate the holidays!  

On Saturday, December 29th we will be back at the totem pole again for a 16 mile run!   If you haven't yet joined LARR, please just come out and run and join in with the group that feels most comfortable to you.  Plenty of snacks, Gatorade, and water will be provided.

We'll start at 7 am and hope to see you there on both Saturdays!


Forster Physical Therapy back at SAMOHI!

On Wednesday night, December 19th at 6:30 pm at SAMOHI, Forster Physical Therapy will join us once again for injury assessments and prevention techniques during our track workout.  They came out in October and were very well received. Hope to see you at the track on the 19th!


Susan Armenta Walking Clinic - back by popular demand!!

If you missed Susan Armenta on December 12th, don't worry because she'll be back in January and Feburary for another walk clinic at our Wednesday track night at SAMOHI.  You won't want to miss this clinic as Susan is a record holder for race walking and she teaches race walking and conditioning techniques that willl really help increase your speed and performance.  Watch for further details regarding dates!


LARC Saturday Program Finished Until Holidays

Our Saturday program at the totem pole has transitioned over to training for the LA Marathon with the LA Road Runners (LARR) meeting at Short Avenue Elementary School located at 12814 Maxella Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90066 (in Marina del Rey).  Training starts at 6:45 am each Saturday.  If you've never run a marathon before, training with LARR will definitely get you over the finish line! For more information or to register, please click here LA Road Runners.  We will be back at the totem pole during the holidays and the first Saturday after the LA Marathon, which takes place on March 24, 2019.  We hope you will join us for marathon training!
